Dr. Kaitlyn Cranham spent most of her life fascinated by dentistry as she watched her father, Dr.John Cranham, treatment plan and create slides for his continuing education courses. Then in high school, while working at the office, she saw the impact her father had on people’s lives daily. At an early age, she decided Dentistry would be the career path she also chose. 

 

She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 with her Bachelor of Science.  She then pursued her dental education at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, graduating in 2020.  Dr. Kaitlyn now works alongside her dad and her brother in their dental practice. 

 

She believes that being a Dentist means that you’re a lifetime student because there is always more to learn. Kaitlyn is actively pursuing continuing education in the areas of dentistry. She has the greatest passion: Invisalign/orthodontics cosmetics, airway, and occlusion. 

 

Dr. Kaitlyn’s mission in dentistry is to make each and every patient feel as comfortable as possible at every visit to Chesapeake Center for Complete Dentistry. Having real and lasting relationships with patients is what she believes to be one of the best parts of dentistry. 

 

Dr. Kaitlyn currently lives in Virginia Beach with her dog, Lane (named after none other than Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia). In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and family,  attending Hokie football games, and spending days at the beach or on the lake.
